Hi! I'm Delia, a passionate English teacher with years of experience helping adult learners achieve real results — whether that's landing a job interview in English, moving abroad, or earning a Cambridge certificate.

My teaching style blends structure with genuine conversation. I adapt to each student's level, pace, and personality, because the best lessons feel less like "studying" and more like an interesting chat that happens to make you better at English.

All my classes are online via Zoom, which means you can learn from wherever you are in the world, with zero commute and full flexibility.

How do lessons work?▾
Book your slot on the calendar, then send payment via PayPal, MB WAY, or bank transfer. Once Delia confirms it, you'll receive the Zoom link by email.
Is my slot reserved as soon as I book on the calendar?▾
The calendar holds your slot temporarily, but it's only fully confirmed once payment is received — so it's best to pay shortly after booking to avoid losing the time to another student.
When are lessons available?▾
Monday to Thursday, between 17:00 and 19:00 (Portugal time). The calendar shows real-time availability.
How do I pay?▾
By PayPal directly, or by MB WAY / bank transfer on request — just email Delia and she'll send the details.
What is the cancellation policy?▾
Sessions can be rescheduled or cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the lesson. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed sessions, are not eligible for a refund or rescheduling.
Which Cambridge exams do you prepare students for?▾
A2 Key (KET), B1 Preliminary (PET), B2 First (FCE), and C1 Advanced (CAE).

This Privacy Policy explains how Delia English collects and uses your personal data when you visit deliaenglish.com or interact with booking and review forms on this site. This site is operated by Delia da Silva, based in Portugal, and is subject to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Portuguese data protection law.

What data we collect

When you book a session via the Calendly calendar, Calendly collects your name and email address to manage your appointment. When you submit a review, Netlify Forms collects your name and the content of your review. No payment data is stored on this site — payments made via PayPal, MB WAY, or bank transfer are handled entirely by those third-party services.

How we use your data

Your data is used solely to manage your lesson bookings, confirm payments, and respond to your enquiries. Reviews submitted via the form are held privately until manually approved by Delia before publication. Your data is never sold, shared with advertisers, or used for marketing purposes.

Cookies

This site uses a small number of functional cookies — primarily from Calendly (to display the booking calendar) and Netlify (to process form submissions). These are necessary for the site to function and are not used for advertising or tracking. No analytics or third-party tracking scripts are currently active on this site. Your cookie preference is remembered via your browser's local storage.
